Our National Philanthropy

Delta Zeta’s national philanthropy is devoted to the hearing and speech impaired. Our philanthropic efforts help support the Gallaudet University, Starkey Hearing Foundation, The House Ear Institute, and the Painted Turtle Camp.

The Painted Turtle Camp provides a year-round, life-changing environment for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. It provides an unforgettable experience through its summer camps and year-round programs to children who struggle daily.

Our Chapter Philanthropy

Isaiah's Place is Lambda Xi's local philanthropy organization and is the only facility of its kind in Texas providing an educational retreat facility focused on enriching the lives of the deaf community, their families, and friends. Workshops and retreats are scheduled year-round where Delta Zeta's actively participate.

Adopt-a-Street

The Lambda Xi chapter has adopted University Drive from Wellborn to Texas as an effort to help keep the College Station community clean. A few hours, 3 times a semester are dedicated to this environmental beautification project.

How Can You Help

Delta Zeta and its philanthropies would kindly accept donations directly sent to the house or any one of the organizations listed above on behalf of Delta Zeta. We would also encourage you to participate in or help sponsor Delta Zeta's annual Run to the Chicken 5K in October. Further details will be posted in the fall on www.runtothechicken.com.
